The depression over Yemen moved westwards during past 06 hours with a speed of 30 kmph and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 15th October 2018 over Yemen near latitude 16.2°N and longitude 49.0°E, about 320 km west of Al­Ghaidah (Yemen).
It is very likely to move west­ northwestwards and further weaken further into a well marked low pressure area during next 06 hours.

♦The cyclonic circulation over central Assam extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level with a North­south trough aloft from the above cyclonic circulation to North Bay of Bengal across East Bangladesh and Tripura extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The trough from Odisha to south Tamilnadu across Coastal Andhra Pradesh extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The cyclonic circulation over North Interior Karnataka & neighbourhood between 1.5 and 4.5 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep area & adjoining southeast Arabian Sea between 1.5 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The cyclonic circulation over South Tamilnadu and neighborhood between 1.5 and 3.1 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The western Disturbance as a trough in the mid­tropospheric westerlies along longitude 66°E and north of latitude 30°N persists.The induced cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan and Gujarat extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
♦The withdrawal line of southwest monsoon continues to pass through Lat. 16 °N/Long. 94°E, Lat. 15°N/long. 90°E, Machilipatnam, Kurnool, Gadag, Vengurla and Lat. 16°N/ Long. 60°E.
