♦ The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to pass through Amritsar, Patiala, Bijnor, Shajanpur, Patna, Bankura, Digha and thence southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal. ♦ The trough from Jharkhand to west-central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast across Odisha at 1.5 km above mean sea level persists. ♦ The cyclonic circulation over north Odisha coast & neighbourhood extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level and tilts southwards with height persists. Under its influence a low pressure area is very likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during next 24 hours. ♦ The eastwest shear zone runs roughly along Latitude 10°N at 7.6 km above mean sea level across south peninsular India persists. ♦ The cyclonic circulation over northern parts of Haryana & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. ♦ The cyclonic circulation over northern parts of Jammu & Kashmir and neighbourhood at 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. ♦ The cyclonic circulation between 0.9 km & 1.5 km above mean sea level over west Assam & adjoining SubHimalayan West Bengal persists.
