Some bogies attached to engine of ill fated train are safe.Passengers traveling in S-2 coach claimed that they felt slight jerk and heard loud when other coaches broke away.

Some travelers in S 2 claimed some passengers sitting at the junction of S 2 and S1 fell on the track and perhaps they were killed. However,it could not be verified by official.

Indian Railways has ordered an inquiry on this accident. Some claimed they the incident occurred because of decoupling of coaches.Railways has claimed that the incident occurred because of broken rail line. Some eye witnesses claimed that they saw broken rail line after the incident. Many news channels also shown this broken rail line.

Most of the passengers traveling in this train were going to Delhi and Kumbh in Prayagraj. Those whose coaches were intact claimed that they were saved because of grace of god and blessings of maa river Ganga.

After this Seemanchal Express derailment,Indian Railways has cancelled/diverted all trains on this route as it is a single line route. Most of these trains are being diverted to nearby locations.Clearing eleven derailed coaches will take considerable time.A special train for carrying the passengers is also being planned by Railways.

Indian Railways has very bad history of accidents. Most of these are caused by unprofessional approach to safety and security of trains and rail lines.Over the years,no serious disaster management efforts has been taken by Indian Railways.Experts of disaster management say that bureaucracy of railways are not open to amending their way of functioning and give responsibility to professionals.Railways is awakened from deep slumber after each accident and they again go to sleep after announcing compensation and inquiry.

Local villagers and local administration is providing help to trapped passangers.Locals are providing food and water to trapped passengers.

Some expert say that no inquiry is made public after their completion.Derailments are caused by carelessness, bad maintenance, sabotage, bad quality of metal in rail line, etc.

Very few officials are punished for their carelessness.Amritsar train accident is the latest example of this.

Smita Vats Sharma, ADG PR(Rail) has tweeted that presently railways is focusing on search and rescue operations and Railway Accident Medical Van has also reached the site.

By 1000 hrs ,Railways has claimed that all search and rescue operations has been completed and all passengers have been rescued.
