#AmritsarTrainAccident . Donors can report to Civil Hospital and Guru Nanak Hospital in Amritsar to donate blood.Politicians are issuing massages as they do always.
No appropriet disaster managment drill has been adopted by government yet.No list of victims has been issued.No list of hospitals were injured and deads are kept has been issued yet till 2144 hrs today.
Most of the victims were transferred to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital .District administration is taking help of other hospitals also.
The train accident in which more than 60 persons have died in Amritsar today is not unique incident in India.
The local administration in Amritsar had not anything appropriate to avoid such accident on railways track.
In 2016-17 about 104 train accidents,in 2015-16 about 107 train accidents occurred in India.In 2018,it may have crossed two dozen cases.
In spite of frequent train accidents no concrete steps were taken by railways.It is a routine to conduct an inquiry and close the case.
The detail inquiry report and the name of culprits are never published widely in media.Normally,people forget these accident by the time the inquiry report is submitted.
Interestingly,these inquiries are conducted by rail officials only.Many disaster management experts say that no disaster management infrastructure of professional nature exists with Indian Railways.
A complete revamp of safety system and emergency management system of railways is required.
