The TxStrong panel focused on the resource strain faced by the city of Houston and Harris County. Panelists explained the historic strain on debris clean-up and recovery resources throughout the country given the unprecedented back to back landfall of category 4 hurricanes in Texas and Florida within weeks of each other.
AshBritt makes it a priority to coordinate prior to a storm event with local municipalities to identify local and small business partners and identify locations where they can operate most effectively. Discussions like these are a critical piece in preparing for future disaster response, added Perkins Castillo.
