The number of COVID 19 cases in India is rising fast.There are 381,293 confirmed cases globally and more than 500 cases in India. India is at 44th position in world ranking of COVID19 cases.
However,whole world is watching rising cases in India as it is having the second largest population in world.
International media is asking whether the health care system India will be able to sustain the burden of a full blown COVID19 pandemic .
Malnutrition,poverty,high density population,high percentage of lung disease patients,lack of hygiene,high number of cardiac and diabetic patients are pre-exiting conditions favourable to high speed and wide spread of COVID 19 in India.
Most of affected counties have sealed their borders.International Air traffic is at standstill.India is also closing its domestic flights from 2400hrs of 24th March,2020.
In India,most of states are under lock down.Many states like Punjab etc has imposed curfew.About 550 districts are under lock down and many more are about to announce the lockdown.
Emergency Manager has compiled this ranking on basis of data provided by WHO and John Hopkins.
However, this data is changing very fast.The spead of spread of infection is becoming high.
