There are some reports on violence against police for enforcement of lockdown.Many states have imposed curfew.Government is taking strick action against violators.Lockdown is the only safety from novel corona virus.

The order will remain in force for 21 days.Detailed 6 pages of guidelines have been enclosed with the advisory.

The relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act 2005 that cover offences and penalties, provided below for reference.

Violation of containment measures will be a punishable offence .

Punishment for not abiding by with govt directive, or making false alarm may result in imprisonment up to one year.

Meanwhile,Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the MoD’s preparations to combat the menace of COVID-19 in a meeting held at his residence on 26th March,in New Delhi.

He have directed the Armed Forces and other organizations, Defence PSUs to gear up preparedness and provide all assistance to the civilian authorities.

Central Armed Police Forces have been also being utilised to maintain law and order situation.

Many CAPF companies are on alert.

About 1900 beds have been provided by CAPF hospitals all across the country for COVID19 quarantine.
