Heavy snowfall is being witnessed in Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Kashmir.
Sirmour, Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti districts in Himachal Pradesh are more affected by snowfall.
Recongpeo, the district headquarter of Kinnaur,is fully covered with snow.
Border areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh are fully covered with white snow. Children are playing with snow and practicing skiing with home made wooden ski.
The lower areas in Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir experienced rainfall.
After night long good rainfall in Shimla city weather is mostly cloudy.
IMD has forcast that wet spell over Western Himalaya and adjoining areas of North Western India will continue on 28th November also.
Farmers, especially apple growers , are happy with the snow Devendra Singh Negi,an organic apple grower of Rohru of Himachal Pradesh, told Emergency Manager magazine “Ideally an apple tree should remain under snow cover for 90 days as it boost health of the tree and makes it disease free. Early snowfall is good for us.”
This snowfall and rain have significantly brought down the temperature in northern India.
