  • They should take good diet and keep themselves hydrated.
  • Elderly should take all precautions like maintaining 6 feet distance from people having flu like symptoms and touching others.
  • All elective surgeries, like cataract surgery/ any surgery that can be done afterwards should be postponed.
  • Taking multi-vitamines especially vitamin C will help in improving immunity.
  • Avoid travel.
  • Stay home when a old person is sick.If infected with COVID 19 contact government health workers for proper guidelines.
  • Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces which are being frequently touched using a regular household disinfectant spray or wipe.
  • Practice good respiratory and hand hygiene.
  • Cover your cough and sneezes.
  • Wash your hands often (for at least 20 seconds) and use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer which has at least 70% alcohol in it.
  • Wash face with soap and water regularly.
  • Stay happy and avoid depression.
  • Talk with friend,relative,health workers and get updates.
  • Inform health workers/relatives if you fall sick and you are alone at home.
