Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister informed that number of COVID 19 cases in India has risen to 45.
An IAF C-17 Globemaster aircraft got airborne at 2030 hrs on 9th March,2020 from Hindan airbase to airlift Indian citizens from Iran.
The aircraft has a specialist medical team onboard. Indian citizens will be flown to Hindan where medical facilities including quarantine have been set up.
Dr S Jaishankar informed through a tweet Met in #Srinagar the families of Indian students in #Iran. Assured them that our Embassy @India_in_Iran is monitoring their welfare.
